The mission of Hope For The Warriors® is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.
Hope For The Warriors® is a national, nonprofit organization that supports wounded U.S. service members, their families, and families of the fallen. The organization was founded in 2006 by a group of military wives, who stood together and witnessed, firsthand, the effects of the war on service members and their families. Hope For The Warriors® provides a full cycle of care to combat wounded service members and their families through 11 distinct programs, including family care, financial needs, morale trips, and professional development.
In 2012, more than 1,350 service members and their families were alleviated of their immediate financial needs through the Critical Care Coordination Program. The organization sent 285 service members through their professional development program, donated gas cards for travel to hospital visits and VA appointments, and allowed spouses to return to school. Hope For The Warriors® also granted more than 379 Wishes in 2012, including a marine’s wish for a dream wedding and a soldier’s need for a service dog.
Below is a testimonial by GySgt Bill Rosborough, USMC (Ret.)
As a wounded warrior, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hope For The Warriors® for all of the love, compassion, friendship and assistance they have provided me and my family since I was severely wounded. I would never want to have to imagine what these past 7 ½ years without you would have been like.

On a small Indonesian Island, a man stumbled upon a small boy standing in the middle of thousands of starfish that had recently been left on shore by a violent storm. He noticed that the boy was frantically trying to get the starfish back into the ocean and asked the boy, "What are you doing - there's too many starfish here, you'll never make a difference." With tears in his eyes the little boy looked at the man, picked up one starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean and said, "I just did."
At FORSIX our name defines our purpose. In today’s global society, we face a list of challenges: civil injustice, disease, poverty, birth defects, educational disparities and unsafe drinking water. We believe that together we can unite 4 these 6 areas of need. Our aim is to take a basic necessity, like clothing, and use it to show friends, family members and people around the world that their needs have not been forgotten.
Graham, John and Hal wanted to build a classic brand that would give them the opportunity to help people. For Six is an apparel company that designs, manufactures and markets its own line of clothing to raise money and awareness for causes that impact our global community. By selling a high quality version of a most basic necessity—clothing—46 provides a fashionable way to be involved with causes that matter.
Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Graham's charisma and genuine nature are the result of a strong family background and his true southern upbringing. Graham now resides in New York City, where he concentrates on humanitarian outreach, events and marketing.
A native of Western North Carolina, Hal spends most of his time directing operations and new product development.
John was raised in Greenville, Texas, but has spent most of his life in the western Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. Now married with three children, John lives in Charleston, South Carolina where he designs and maintains the website, media, and the visuals you see elsewhere.
The FOR SIX Partnership Program is an initiative to expand the 46 brand to organizations interested in creating high-quality, fashionable products that represent their mission. Retail opportunities are also available. Connect with us below for more information.
